Here we go!

I know learning to drive may seem complicated, with all the forms you need to fill out and other stuff you have to remember. Don't worry - the following pages will show you all you need to know about getting hold of your provisional licence, followed by the steps you then need to follow up to passing your test.

Click the links and read through my pages but if you still have questions contact me

Provisional Licence

Before we can start you must have both parts of your provisional driving licence. To apply for this, you must complete the application form D1 available from either the 'Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) form ordering service', or from your local Post Office.

It takes about 4 weeks for your application to be processed and for your licence to be sent to you - so if you want to start learning as soon as you hit 17, make sure you apply early!

Get in Touch

You can book a regular two hour lesson - this will make your learning more intensive. Alternatively booking a one hour lesson twice a week will make an effective learning programme.

On the other hand, if you prefer you can pre-book on a lesson-by-lesson basis, giving you total flexibility. Now your goal is in sight, you might want to speed up and take your Theory Test at the earliest possible date - it's up to you.
